Washington DC Weather in some ways combines the worst of Northern weather with the worst of Southern weather, with hot, humid summer days and frequent snow in the winter. If you are a fan of the four well defined seasons then you will love DC. The wettest month, May, is only a little wetter than the driest month, February. Snow is most prevalent in late December, January and February, although March, April and November have also seen snowfall. 100 degree days are very rare, but humid 90 degree days are not. From the beginning of December through the middle of March the daily low averages below freezing.
